Arthur’s Cart Hire
Lawn Games and Party Hire Policy
(Effective as of January 2025)
Thank you for choosing Arthur’s Cart Hire. We are a family-run event and party hire company based in Wales, providing handmade rustic games, children’s teepee corners, signage, and bespoke hire items for weddings, parties, and special events.
This Hire Policy outlines our terms and conditions. By paying your deposit and confirming your booking, you agree to these terms. Please read carefully before signing.
1. General Booking Terms
- Your booking is not complete until we receive a £25 non-refundable deposit and a completed booking form.
- Once your booking is secured, we will send confirmation via email.
- Follow us on social media for updates, new packages, and special offers.
- You can upgrade your booking (subject to availability) up to one month before your event date with no admin fee.
- The final balance is due one month before your event date. A reminder will be sent six weeks before your event.
- If we do not receive your final balance on time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.
- Please keep in touch if you need support or face challenges — we’re happy to help.
2. Giant Lawn Games
- Games will be set up 2 hours before your event start time and collected the following morning, unless otherwise agreed.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- All games are made of solid wood — misuse may result in accidents. Play is at your own risk.
- Games must be left in the same condition and location as set up.
- Significant damage will incur a damage fee.
3. Children’s Teepee Corner
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- No shoes, food, or drinks are permitted inside the teepee.
- All toys should remain within the children’s corner.
- Colour themes are agreed at the time of booking. If no preference is provided, we will select a theme for you.
- Please confirm the number of children and approximate ages so we can provide suitable toys and activities.
- Outdoor set-up is only permitted if the weather is forecast dry all day. All items must be brought indoors at the end of the evening. Failure to do so may result in damage fees.
4. Signage
- Our signage is handmade to suit your requirements. Wording and colour scheme are agreed in advance.
- Colour matches will be as close as possible but exact matches cannot be guaranteed.
- You are welcome to add your own flowers — please notify us in advance.
- Our hire flowers must not be removed from the signage. Missing flowers upon collection will incur a £50 replacement fee.
- The seating wall is provided empty. We can supply vases, flowers, photo frames, etc., for an additional £30.
- Please leave any additional items (for example, name cards or photos) with your venue coordinator for us to set up on arrival.
5. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, please email us at arthurscarthire@gmail.com as soon as possible.
- Your £25 deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancellation charges:
- One month or more before the event: no further charge.
- Up to 2 weeks before the event: 50% of the hire cost is due.
- Within 2 weeks of the event: the full hire cost is due.

Arthur’s Cart Hire holds public liability insurance. We recommend clients consider event insurance for additional peace of mind. We accept no liability for weather-related damage or disruption.
